These have roughly the same concept: wrap something in puff pastry and cook until done.

The egg is technically optional but really improves the texture.

Sausage rolls:

Ingredients:
2 sausages, skins removed (I peel them off but you can also squeeze)
1/2 sheet puff pastry cut down the middle
beaten egg
sesame seeds (optional)

Method:

Preheat oven to 190C. Put the sausages along the middle of the pastry, squishing so they fit evenly. Roll over the two side to form a long roll and place on your cooking sheet seam down. Cut into four pieces. Brush with egg and (if using) sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 25 minutes.

Leftover puffs, per puff:

1/4 puff pastry sheet
2 tablespoons leftover vegetables, curry, etc. Damp but not too soupy.
beaten egg
sesame seeds (optional)

Method:

Preheat oven to 200C. Put the leftovers in the middle of the square. Pull up the corners and squish the edges together to seal into a little parcel. As long as the shape is stable it's ok if there's gaps. Brush with egg and (if using) sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 15 minutes.
