Adapted from here, but with like 1/3 of the sugar.

Ingredients:
1/2 egg, beaten
1/8-1/4 cup brown sugar (1/8 isn't quite enough, 1/4 seems like it would be too much)
1/4 cup pecans/walnuts, chopped
2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 sheet puff pastry, thawed

Preheat oven to 200C. Stir the sugar, nuts, flour, and cinnamon in a small bowl.

Put the pastry on a piece of baking paper. Brush the pastry sheet with the egg mixture. Sprinkle the granulated sugar mixture on the pastry. Starting at a long side, roll one side of the pastry to the center. Roll the opposite side to the center and press the rolls together. Cut into 2cm wide slices (this ends up being 5-6) Brush the slices with the egg mixture. This will create an awful mess lol.

Bake for 15 minutes or until the pastries are golden brown. Let the pastries cool for at least like 10 minutes, they taste so much better that way.

I have yet to figure out a way to avoid a goopy edge of egg wash that tastes like sweet fried egg but don't mind too much. I've never tried this with the added water I probably should.
