Rice Cooker:
1 rice cooker cup short grain rice
2 rice cooker cups oat milk
1 banana
dash ginger, cinnamon
pinch salt
vanilla essence
1.5 Tb brown sugar
1 beaten egg

Everything but sugar and egg in rice cooker. 1 hr 10 mins on soup setting. Mix in egg and sugar.

Stove Top:

Basically just this recipe, halved. Because I never seem to be able to find the quantities for uncooked rice when I want them.


Ingredients:

1/2 cup uncooked white rice, or 1.5 cups cooked rice
2 cups milk
1/6 cup sugar, plus more as needed
1/8 teaspoon salt
vanilla essence, cinnamon

Optional: A chopped banana, handful of almonds, dab of margarine, flavour syrups

Method:

Optional: Brown the rice and almonds in the butter until juuust starting to brown, then add milk, cinnamon, and sugar. Have the milk ready to add in a hurry, it doesn't take long to go from browning to burnt!

Bring to a simmer, stirring. Gently simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 25 minutes. Serve with chopped banana and maybe some caramel syrup.
