The classic recipe is just frozen bananas and peanut butter, and that's not bad but I like adding more to it.
Ingredients:
1-3 bananas, chopped into slices then frozen flat and separated
1 Tb peanut butter per banana
1 Tb sugar per banana
dash of vanilla essence
pinch of salt
Method:
Whiz in a food processor until smooth. Serve with maple flavoured syrup etc.
For a smoothie, add about 1 banana's worth of this to a cup of dairy free milk and a dash of maple syrup, then whiz with a food processor or blender.
Recipes usually say to use smooth peanut butter but I use crunchy, I like the little bits of peanut.
